Less than 2 months until Tanzania

I booked my ticket today to go back to Tanzania. On August 31st I will fly back to Kilimanjaro Airport to start my year in Karatu, TZ. I can't wait to start another year in Tanzania. I will certainly miss Moshi and all those fabulous times I had with Scarlett, Claire, Joelle, Kris and Alisa at Glacier, Pub A and La Liga. But I'm also looking forward to a new chapter with a new purpose. It would be too sad to be in Moshi without all my favorite people anyways.

Unfortunately, I have to write my dissertation before I can start packing for my new life and despite choosing a topic I am actually interested in ("NGO's influence on education in Tanzania"), my excitement over writing 10,000 words on the topic is limited. If anyone wants to give his/her opinion on this to inspire me, please do so soon. I know some of us have first hand experience with volunteering in schools and education related NGOs. Any input on the topic might spark brilliant ideas on my part.

Below are a couple of TED talks I recently watched and thought I'd share, as well as an interview with Dambisa Moyo ("Dead AID") and Acumen Founder Jacqueline Novogratz.
